{ My Desert Rose Plant Is Finally Blooming }

I'm so excited about my Desert Rose being in bloom. 

I've had this plant for a few years now and never seen it with it's flowers. It's been hard keeping it alive since I got it. The store I bought it from unfortunately did not bother watering it. The poor thing was in pretty bad shape and I felt sorry. 

Last winter I read somewhere to cut the stems back towards the end of winter, but I was chicken and simply could not do it out of fear I would kill the plant. So I left it, and a few days ago I was rewarded with lovely pink trumpet like flowers.

{ Just A Quick "Hello" }

It has been a while since my last post. I killed my laptop and was not able to update much. My old computer is very slow and makes uploading pictures and such a real pain. However, I did managed to upload a few new pictures of our guest bathroom renovation. It is almost done and I like how it looks so far.

Next week if time allows I will go and search for a new laptop that I like and fits within budget. Then the updates will be more frequent.

{ It's A Sad Day Today }

After more than 15 years of wonderful, funny and lovable times our little dog Fuzzy has passed away. She was a joy to have around and we loved her very much!

She's been by our side through good and bad times and it was very hard to say goodbye to her.

We sure will miss her and know there will never be another like her!
