{Nutella Banana Bread}

I love Nutella, it has been around forever, at least in Germany it has been. It seems to gain more and more popularity here in the USA even though it has been available here in the stores for many years as well. Lately you can find all kinds of great recipes with Nutella as an ingredient.

So once again I bought a bunch of bananas and most of them are turning brown already. I did not want to waist another lot of bananas and figured I tried my hand at baking a Nutella Banana Bread and it really turned out awesome.

Honestly, everything is better with Nutella!

Recipe For Nutella Banana Bread:

Ingredients:

    2 cups flour
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 cup butter softened
    1 cup sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 1/4 cup mashed ripe bananas
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 cup milk
    3/4 heaping cup Nutella

Instructions:

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Prepare a 8×4-inch loaf pan

- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda & salt.

- In a separate large bowl, beat sugar and butter with an electric mixer at medium speed until blended. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add banana, milk and vanilla. Beat until blended. Add flour mixture, beat at low speed just until flour is incorporated (don’t over mix).

- Spoon Nutella into a small dish and soften in the microwave for about 15 seconds. Add 1 cup of the banana bread batter to the Nutella and stir until blended well.

- Spoon Nutella batter alternately with plain banana bread batter into the prepared pan. Swirl batters together with a knife.

- Bake 50 to 60 minutes, it will seem a tiny bit undercooked but that’s what makes it good. Cool for at least 15 minutes in the pan, and then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely

{Glass Containers}

I'm in the process of re-doing my kitchen pantry and love the idea of glass containers holding a lot of the dry goods. I've seen that look in many pantry makeovers and just love it.

I bought a lot of glass jars and containers on sale at my local craft store and designed some vinyl lables for them.and then cut the labels with my die cutting machine.

I will show the pantry remodel as I go along!

{Valentines Cheesecake Filled Strawberry's}

 A nice treat for Valentines Day are Cheesecake Filled Strawberry's.
They are easy and fast to make, here is how:

Of course you'll need Strawberry's. Try to find nice large ones, they are easier to hollow out.
 Mine are not all that big, but these are the only ones my store had .

You also need:

Make your favorite cheesekake filling.
 Chocolate Chips, chocolate and vanilla flavored
A melon baller

Use your melon baller to hollow out the strawberry's, being careful not to hurt the walls of the strawberry.

I used a small spoon to fill my strawberry's this time.
A icing bag will of course work as well.

Melt your Chocolate Chips and dip the Strawberry's about half way
and place them on wax paper to harden.
For a little decor take a spoon and drizzle a bit of chocolate of the alternating color over the Strawberry.
