{New Years White Chocolate Popping Corn}

♥ The year 2012 is just around the corner.
I will spend New Years Eve at home, but not without getting comfortable in front of the TV and  some goodies to celebrate with. One of my favorites is popcorn, but on New Years Eve it needs a little twist.

You Will Need:

2 bags of your unflavored favorite popcorn. Orville Redenbacher's is a good choice.

Edible Sprinkles. I use gold stars, but silver would be nice as well for New Years. Or both!
Wilton's has a good selection of glitters and sprinkles in nice colors.

1 bag white chocolate melts

Pop your popcorn in the microwave. Follow the directions of chocolate melts and melt them in the microwave. Combine the popcorn, melted chocolate and mix together in a large bowl . Toss lightly and allow the mix to cool just a little, before you add the sprinkles. Just enough so the sprinkles will still stick to the chocolate. Add as many sprinkles as you like, but about half a tube is plenty.
Allow the popcorn mix to finish cooling and harden for about an hour and store in an air-tight container until ready to use.
